Welcome to Athens Azure Bootcamp! Around the world user groups and communities want to learn about Azure and Cloud Computing! On May 11, 2019, all communities will come together once again in the fifth great Athens Azure Bootcamp event! Each user group will organize their own one day deep dive class on Azure the way they see fit and how it works for their members. The result is that thousands of people get to learn about Azure and join together online under the social hashtag #AzureAthens! Join hundreds of other organizers to help out and be part of the experience!

Building a Cloud Native Application on Azure

Building end-to-end a cloud native application on Azure, managing no servers, scalable to support any load, operationalize all the components involved with minimal effort. It will be a session with the absolutely necessary powerpoint slides and focus mostly of how a cloud native application may be realized on Azure. It will have a public facing web site to collect product orders, customer identity will be backed by AAD B2C, an Azure Functions based REST API, Azure Service Bus to act a load leveling mechanism, Cosmos DB as the NoSQL engine for persistence and App Insights as the end-to-end monitoring solutions.
